Jacques van de Baan (1971) began writing novels in 2009. He has the goal to write stories that force for thought. Suspense combined with a current ethical theme that many people do not know or
only little about. His first manuscript was positively received by various publishers, which led to a cooperation with publisher Den Hertog. His debut novel Prey came on the market in
June 2012 and started as a top title. This book was highly welcomed by readers, and the media and literary reviewers were also positive. His second novel Serpent appeared in 2013 and
also became a sales success. In June, Serpent, as well as Prey, was a top title in the Netherlands. His third novel, The Rune Circle, appeared in October 2014. His
fourth novel is scheduled for publication in Spring 2018.
